The safety of our people takes precedence over everything else.

Northpower sees safety as a journey - one that we have sought to take our employees and their families on with us. Our journey started as many do, with compliance and has over time evolved, building on sound foundations to incorporate behaviour based safety principles.

Our family style approach to employment means we are emotionally committed to the well-being of our people. We have chosen to apply the psychology of human dynamics to enrich the culture in which our people work. We implement safe working practices as a matter of course. Each key business department is required to incorporate health and safety into their strategic planning, annual planning and business directions. Although our managers and supervisors are accountable for the support and implementation of health and safety policies within the company, individual safety is the responsibility of all our people.
